Participation in the EVA 2022 congress, the University of Patras
Rontis had the pleasure of visiting the 2nd EndoVascular Access (EVA) Meeting, held in the Conference & Cultural Centre, the University of Patras, on the 24th and the 25th of June 2022, organized after a two-year “gap” due to the global SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
Having been invited by the organizing scientific committee, comprised of Prof. Dr Dimitrios Karnabatidis, Assoc. Prof. Dr Konstantinos Katsanos and Assist. Prof. Dr Panagiotis Kitrou, all interventional radiologists of outstanding international reputation, Rontis’ delegation had the opportunity to meet an impressive 56-strong faculty comprised of the world-leading physicians and clinical researchers in the field of interventional radiology and AV fistula salvage in particular, attend high-quality lectures presenting & discussing new clinical evidence in the scope of current and emerging technologies, hold detailed conversations about Rontis’ R&D projects on novel drug-coated balloon catheters with our clinical partners, as well as explore opportunities for collaborating with international companies active in kidney dialysis & endovascular access for nephrology patients.
The 2nd EVA Meeting was one of the most successful congresses Rontis has attended in the recent years, and we look forward to returning for EVA 2023, as a corporate participant presenting the newest developments of our R&D achievements!
Rontis was represented by Mr Anastasios Politopoulos, VP Int/nal Business Development; Mr Arsen Semertzioglou, R&D Director, Medical Devices; Mr Bill Bakopanos, Clinical Education Manager, Medical Devices; and Dr Athanassios Vratimos, International Product Manager, Medical Devices.
