Participation of Rontis in the 7th Annual Congress of the Interventional Radiological Society of Pakistan
Rontis participated in the 7th annual IRSP congress, held in Islamabad, Pakistan, on the 29th and 30th of April 2023.
The event was organised by the Interventional Radiological Society of Pakistan, aiming to present and discuss clinical and technical developments in the field of peripheral vascular interventions, with a particular focus on advancing the current medical practice in Pakistan. The program included a particularly interesting range of relevant subjects, including the percutaneous treatment of aorto-iliac, femoral and below-the-knee disease, the management of thrombotic peripheral ischaemia, application of endovascular interventions in the gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary systems, urological and gynaecological interventions, as well as venous and neuro-interventions. Moreover, IRSP7 included training workshops for medical students, adding educational value to the event through teaching of young prospective physicians.
Rontis had the pleasure of returning to IRSP in support of our local distribution partner (LifeCares) who participated with a booth, after having attended IRSP4 in 2019 in a similar capacity, noticing the continuous and significant improvement in the quality and content of the program, the increased number and diversification of the faculty in terms of medical specialties, clinical experience and nature of selected cases presented, highlighted by the fact that many speakers visited from abroad (inc. the USA and the UK), the presence of a larger number of well-reputed manufacturers of endovascular medical devices as exhibitors, as well as the significantly increased number of attendees who joined IRSP7.
In light of the above, we had the opportunity to interact with many academic, medical and industrial attendees, a number of important KOLs in the field of interventional radiology, as well as the members of the IRSP organising committee, thus strengthening the presence of our company in the local market, promoting and demonstrating our endovascular products, while building on our strong and successful collaboration with Rontis’ local business partners. Furthermore, through the numerous in-depth meetings held during the congress, we obtained an ever more detailed understanding of the clinical needs of our existing and new customers and their patients, whom we continue to support through our continuously expanding portfolio of medical devices.
Rontis looks forward to continue our successful presence in Pakistan next year in Lahore for IRSP8!
