Rontis participation in CIRSE 2022
Rontis participated in CIRSE 2022, one of the most prestigious and well-attended international medical congresses in the field of Interventional Radiology, after a two-year “gap” due to SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. The event was organized by the Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiological Society of Europe in the International Convention Centre of Barcelona, Spain, between the 10th and the 14th of September 2022, having invited and attracted thousands of medical and industrial visitors who registered from different countries around the world.
Our team joined CIRSE for the fourth consecutive time, both as exhibitors with a booth and as science attendees. Taking full advantage of participating in such an educationally-rich congress, Rontis’ team followed the medical program, comprised of lectures and presentations on the most recent clinical evidence and cutting-edge technologies in the field, while we also held numerous business meetings in our booth, over which we evaluated and discussed the potential of new collaborations with international distributors and suppliers, met with Greek KOLs with whom Rontis has established a long and strong professional collaboration in the research & development of endovascular medical devices, welcomed physicians who shared their experience in the CathLab, while we also discussed the future steps of our business with current international partners.
Most importantly, one of Rontis’ current R&D projects aiming to develop a novel drug-coated peripheral balloon catheter was featured in the scientific program of CIRSE 2022: the positive and promising pre-clinical evaluation of the aforementioned device was presented to an audience of medical peers on Tuesday the 13th of September, demonstrating the progress made by the Division of Medical Devices on the introduction of Rontis’ manufactured niche products in a highly competitive global market.
Following another successful presence in CIRSE this year, we look forward to participating in CIRSE 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark!
