Participation at the congress CISAC 2016
Rontis has participated in the 20th International congress of the Algerian society of Cardiology in Alger, between the 16th and the 18th of December 2016 for the first time as an exhibitor.
Our company had the chance to attend one of the largest regional congresses in Africa and our delegate has met with local Interventional Cardiologists & Radiologists.
CISAC was a great opportunity to introduce our endovascular portfolio in the Cardiology society of Algeria, in cooperation with the local medical devices companies.
Algeria is the largest country in Africa, which is estimated to have a population of around 40 million people. The Algerian government has a funding plan, which is expected to spend €5.70bn in health care; the largest share of this fund is directed towards the establishment of over 1,500 health care facilities all over the country. By 2016, the Algerian government had already allocated €4.85bn to build ten (10) hospitals and renovate all existing ones.
